Komatsu’s business activities have an impact on the communities in which they are undertaken. We are committed to managing this impact responsibly and accept that our obligation extends beyond statutory requirements to the upliftment of society as a whole. Komatsu engages community development through its corporate social investment (CSR) programme.
Education is the thrust and main theme of our CSR projects with our focus being around providing training and development opportunities in partnership with our customers where possible and in line with our core business offerings.
We have a wide range of activities with our main projects being:

2. Komatsu DenRon Community Development Centre – Plettenberg Bay
3. Bana Ba Noko After School Care Project – Tembisa
4. Rainbow Athletic Club – Tembisa
